The UB Summer Staff will assist our students in securing their work-study assignment, as well as, visit the students’ work-study locations from Monday thru Friday to ensure a mutually beneficial working environment. Students are expected to engage in work-study obligations a minimum of 4-hours per day during Weeks 3, 4, and 5If a scholar already has a job and would like to maintain their employment throughout the summer, their job will count as their work-study.
  • The Summer Academy will conclude with a trip to our nation’s capital in Washington DC (and a day trip to Baltimore) for a fun filled week visiting national monuments, Smithsonian museums and historic sites, tours of Capitol Hill and the National Aquarium, and attend a comedic and hilarious play at the Kennedy Center.
